Notice of Trial (civil/family law) should only be served when the case is ready to proceed. Once served the case must be listed in the next appropriate list.

Attendance at the call over of the list before the County Registrar is required.

Prior to service of Notice of Trial a 21 day Warning Letter should be sent to the opposing party of intention to issue a Notice of Trial. If the opposing party has difficulty with the issue of the Notice of Trial application should be made by Motion on Notice before the County Registrar in that regard. The Warning letter should be filed with the Notice of Trial.
