Title of proceedings
HC67 | High Court

In any case in which a party to High Court litigation is suing or being sued or joined to the proceedings in a representative capacity as Administrator ad litem then, notwithstanding the practice of the Central Office of the High Court to date, it is open to such party to have that fact recorded in the title to such proceedings.

In such case the title to proceedings would (where it is a defendant who is sued) read AB plaintiff v. XY (as Administrator ad litem in the Estate of N deceased) defendant.

This practice direction shall come into effect from 1st October, 2016.

Peter Kelly,
President of the High Court
20th September, 2016
